Lend a hand, make it happen

You can volunteer as much or as little as you’d like — during or after school hours. If we don’t have enough volunteers for an event, we can’t run it. Every hour truly matters.

Become an approved volunteer

All school volunteers must be approved through the district first. Complete the district’s volunteer registration and background screening.

Events that need volunteers

So many of our events only happen because families pitch in. Check the calendar for what’s coming up — events that need volunteers have a sign-up right on the card.

Before you start

Volunteer requirements

  • Complete a background check screening — mandatory, no exceptions.
  • Be at least 16 years old with a valid photo ID.
  • If you’re 16–18, you must be a current Hutto ISD student.
Heads up: Approval through the district can take a little time, so start early — especially before big events. Once you’re approved, you’re set for the whole school year.
